Who Guards the Peace of Mind for Gilbertsville and Beyond?
Our dedicated volunteer firefighters and EMTs respond 24/7 to protect lives, property, and the communities we call home. Trained. Ready. Local.
More Than a Fire Department — A Family of Protectors
The Gilbertsville Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Squad has been the backbone of public safety in our community for decades. Every member trades their time, their comfort, and often their safety — so that when the call comes in, someone answers.
Based at 114 Marion Ave in Gilbertsville, our department serves a wide rural area with a committed team of trained volunteers. From structure fires and vehicle accidents to medical emergencies and hazardous material calls, we respond to whatever the community needs — day or night, rain or shine.
